Spent some time at Arcade Monsters and here’s my very honest take 👾🛼 It really gives late-90s nostalgia — like when my parents would drop me & my older brother off at the rink for literal hours with $10 that somehow covered entrance & food 😂 That exact energy is alive here w/their $26 unlimited play & skate. If I were a teenager — or the parent of one — I’d be so stoked about this place. It’s a great rework of an old establishment and honestly suits Murrieta really well. The colors and artwork feel like modern neon rave meets anime meets slightly trippy acid-dream vibes 😵‍💫⚡️ Some of it is even a little on the scary side… As the mom of a five-year-old though? It didn’t totally hit for us (yet) 😅. But I might come back without the kiddo & just the hubs 😂. Pros: ✔️ One admission price ✔️ Unlimited gameplay ✔️ Skate rentals included ✔️ Skating included Cons: ➖ Unlimited play = long lines for popular games ➖ Food takes forrrreeever ➖ The rink is kind of the Wild West with no segmented skate times And listen… momma here is actually a solid skater — I’m just not trying to accidentally take out six-year-old beginners while dodging chaos 😂 Bottom line: AMAZING for teens, older kids, and nostalgia-loving adults. 👾 UNLIMITED Arcade Play for $25 at Arcade Monsters ( @arcademonsters ) across the street from Petco Park! Over 200 games, 2 levels and lots of fun. Great for all ages! They have your classics like ski ball and air hockey, to retro games like super Mario brothers and pinball machines. My favorite are their Japanese games imported from Japan like Initial D, Mario Kart, Dance and DJ games and so much more. 🍹 Snacks and Drinks are available for purchase. They have a variety of slushies that are a must order! Their purple rain (ube) is so good! Bc ube to me needs to taste like = magnolia ice cream #IYKYK 😂 and theirs is GOOD. For $35 you can get unlimited play and re-entry if you want to go out and explore around downtown as well.
