From a wheelchair-accessible trail at Williams Falls, to challenging mountain hikes, their 11 trails are ready to be explored. Relax on beautiful golden sand Youghall beach. Enjoy a free access to some Eastern Canada’s warmest waters in the Chaleur Bay. Campbelton offers picturesque views of the Restigouche River and is easily accessible from Quebec via the J.C. Van Horne Bridge. You can’t visit NB without eating a delicious lobster roll! 🦞 Chez Phil’s Kitchen is a great place to stop and enjoy a lunch in the gorgeous Charlo region. Grand Falls is the largest waterfall east of Niagara Falls, dropping from 23 m (75 feet) into a sheer faced gorge. The New Brunswick Botanical Garden is located in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Situated on 7 hectares next to the Madawaska River, it has more than 80,000 plants, making it the largest arboretum east of Montreal. 🤯 Can you believe this is Scotland?! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I have no words... What an INCREDIBLE Saturday 🤩 We've been wanting to do this route for aaaagessss, and the weather perfectly aligned with our visit which meant it was a go for the CMD Arête (Càrn Mòr Dearg Arête) 🙌 This is by no means an easy day, especially in winter. It can be easy to forget that hiking in winter can be so much more tiresome, trudging through the snow up a big mountain, then having to head back down again (feel sorry for my calves and quads please) 😂 I am by no means the fittest so this was a hard effort that required all my endurance, but it was so worth it! We recently thru hiked the Sentier Nepisiguit Mi'gmaq Trail from the Bay of Chaleur near Bathurst, New Brunswick inland to Mount Carleton Provincial Park. It's a beautiful and challenging 150-kilometre trek that traverses a traditional migratory route used by the nomadic Mi’gmaq peoples for over 10, 000 years. It took us six days to walk the trail, through bogs and brooks, across beaver dams and bridges, up steep climbs, and soft plateaus.
