THE RAMOS GIN FIZZ - CREAMY, CITRUSY, AND ICONICALLY SMOOTH 🍋🥂 Because some classics are worth the extra shake. INGREDIENTS: • 1.5 oz gin (london dry style) • 1.0 oz heavy cream • 1 egg white • 0.5 oz lime juice • 0.5 oz lemon juice • 0.5 oz simple syrup • 2–3 oz soda water • 3–4 drops orange blossom water INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients except soda water in a shaker with one ice cube and whip shake until frothy. Add ice and shake again to chill. Strain into a tall glass with ice and top with soda water. Silky, bright, and famously indulgent - a true showstopper that rewards patience. Salud! Martinez Cocktail⁠ Popularized in the late 1800s this drink is arguably the precursor to the modern Martini. I forgot to add the orange bitters while making it here, but you can see by the structure and the name how we would later call a similar drink category the Martini. We will build it in an ice-filled shaker with⁠ 45ml Old Tom Gin⁠ 45ml sweet vermouth⁠ 5ml maraschino liqueur⁠ 2 dashes of orange bitters⁠ Shake and strain into a chilled coupe.
