The @museumofdufferin features three galleries and four historic buildings that host long-term and short-term exhibitions and art shows. The MoD is also home to the Dufferin County Archives. The Museum of Dufferin is nestled in the hills of Mulmur Township, just over an hour north of the GTA. The Museum’s roots date to 1963 when the Dufferin County Historical Society established the Shelburne Pioneer Museum. When you come to visit the Museum of Dufferin, there is plenty of activities in and around the area. The MoD is very close in proximity to good food and the Main Tract of the Dufferin County Forest. What started as a simple staff team-building workshop last year has turned into something so much more… and we’re beyond grateful to share that our pieces are now available at the beautiful @museumofdufferin 🧡 From hosting a workshop, to being invited as a vendor at their first ever Fire & Earth Festival, to now being asked to create pieces specifically for their gift shop — this journey has been nothing short of magical. We’ve built such a meaningful relationship with the incredible staff here, and what I once thought was just a “cute building on top of a large hill” has become a place filled with history, inspiration, and connection. The most special part? This is a place my grandpa used to visit often. The MoD invites photographers to explore what “home” means across cultures (food, tradition, community, family/friends and space). This book lover’s dream is located inside the Museum of Füssen, the former Benedictine monastery of St. Mang. If you’re visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, add this stop to your Germany itinerary for the perfect fairytale pairing in Bavaria 📖🏰 The museum doesn’t take long to explore as it’s quite small, and most of the exhibits are in German.
