Things I wish some one told me 💅🏽 Don’t waste your money buying: Any NAIL KITS FROM AMAZON or SHEIN etc most likely you will experience contact dermatitis or allergy associated with harmful chemicals touching your skin/ being cured onto skin from LED light. Same for CHEAP GEL POLISH Try to invest in quality products to avoid chipping or peeling of gel colors. NAIL PRIMER OR DEHYDRATOR just use alcohol to prep & cleanse the nails. No need for acid primers. Invest in QUALITY NAIL TOOLS & HAND DRILL such as cuticle nippers and attachment bits for e-file. I can not imagine doing my job without my NailLabo E-file @naillabousa #luminarynailsystems #nailartist #naildesign #nailtutorials #nailtech #nailtrend #nails #gelnails #begginernailtech #nailsmagazine #nailpro

Tips lifting or bubbling after curing? Here’s how to apply nail tips so they STAY put and look flawless🙌😝#diynails #nailtutorials #nailinspo #gelxnails #aillsanailglue

💅 One Nail Hack That Changes Everything Apply gel around the cuticle and sidewalls first using a nail art brush 🖌 Then fill in the centre as usual. Zero mess. Full control. Clean results every time. ✨ 🎯 Try it and thank me later! #NailHack #GelPolishTips #CleanApplication #NailTechTrick #KohanaNails #KateKohana #NailEducation #InstaNails #nailsnailsnails #KohanaProfessional

3 mistakes most beginner nail techs make ⬇️ 1. Poor prep Not removing all the cuticle or leaving oils behind = lifting in days 😩 ✨ How to avoid: Push back + remove ALL cuticle, cleanse the nail, and use dehydrator + primer before application 2. Using too much product Bulky nails, uneven shape, and way more filing than needed ✨ How to avoid: Work with small beads and build slowly—you can always add more, not take away 3. Skipping structure No apex = weak nails that don’t last ✨ How to avoid: Focus on building an apex in the stress area for strength and a clean shape Perfect your prep, control your product, and build your structure… your sets will instantly level up ✨ #nailtechtips #beginnarnailtech #nailgrowth #nailtechlife #tampanailtech

Disclaimer: This is a personal experiment using flexible tips as dual forms. These aren’t designed for this use and may not remove cleanly. Do not test on clients—try it on yourself only! IMPORTANT the nail tip has to be the kind that’s very flexible (i’m talking so easy to bend you almost break it that’s how much). Apres will not work as it’s very hard. Something cheap from aliexpress or temu etc. IT WORKS Y’ALL. Steps: Make sure to size your tips true to size (when in doubt a slightly bigger size is ok) Take builder gel that has a thick viscosity and apply it to the center area and down the tip. Leave space up top. Then press it against your nail as you would for gel x—gently press the cuticle side of the nail tip // hold (stop when you see the gel reach the bottom of your nail) and cure! After fully cured, take a tweezer and tweeze the tip off. If done correctly you’ll have a beautiful easy nail extension that does not require tips! Shape and overlay with a hard gel 🥰

If your designs look cheap no matter how detailed they are… it might not be your art. It’s your prep! I see so many nail techs focusing on the design, the gems, the lines, the details… but skipping over the foundation that actually makes everything look clean and professional. Good prep is what makes designs look crisp. Good prep is what prevents lifting. Good prep is what makes your work look expensive. Once I changed how I approached prep, everything about my sets improved. My retention, my application, and honestly the overall look. If you want to level up your prep and your retention, I break it all down step by step in my e-book. Comment “PREP” and I’ll send you the link!🫧 #nailprep #beginnernailtech #nailtech #nailpro #naileducation

I’m a nail tech of 3 years & if you’re a beginner… start these 6 habits before it’s too late 😩 1. Take photos of EVERY set. Even the “basic” ones. Tracking your work helps you see progress, build content, and attract better clients. 2. Set boundaries from day one. Late policy. Deposits. No extra guests. If you don’t set standards early, clients will set them for you. 3. Perfect your prep before your art. Clean cuticles + proper prep will make your sets last. Retention matters more than crazy designs. 4. Track your timing. Know how long each service actually takes you. You can’t grow or price properly if you don’t know your numbers. 5. Invest in education, not just products. It’s tempting to buy every new colour, but mastering structure, shaping, and retention will make you more money long term. 6. Raise your prices as you grow. Don’t stay “beginner priced” for years. As your skill improves, your pricing should reflect your level. • if viewing follow @thebeautybar.x • • • #uknailtech #londonnailtech #nailtechs #beginnernailtech #nailreels

Okay so lowkey always hated buffing and I was always trying to find ways around it 🫣 I tried matte top coat, I tried acetone, but there was always something I didn’t like with those techniques. Thats when I tried my sanding band, it really helped to smooth everything out especially after I used my 5-1 bit, I love this method and I think every tech should try it ✨ It gives me the smooth base I always looked for. 💅🏼 • I’m using a 240 grit sanding band with 70% alcohol ㅤ♡ ㅤ♡ ㅤ♡ ㅤ♡ ㅤ♡ #nailtech #nailtips #nailtip #naileducator #naileducation #nailtechtips #nailtutorials #nailtrends #nailarttrends #nailtrend #trending #nailtechhelp #nailtutorial #nailbuffing #smoothnails #trending #explore #nailinspo #beginnernailtech #acrylicnailtips #acrylicnails #sandingband #nailarttutorials #nailart
