It usually occurs in the second and early third trimester but may correct itself before delivery. ✅ 2. Baby Kicks in Transverse Lie In transverse lie, mothers often feel baby kicks on the sides of the abdomen rather than at the top or bottom. Kicks may feel stronger on one side depending on where the baby’s legs are positioned. Sometimes movements are felt low near the pelvis and high near the ribs simultaneously because the baby’s body is lying sideways. ✅ 3. How Baby Kicks Differ from Head-Down Position In head-down position: kicks are mostly felt near the upper belly or ribs. In transverse lie: kicks are felt more side-to-side rather than up-and-down.
