mainly because i wake up so late lool tbh ever since i quit my 9-5 job, my main focus was on protecting my zen the first few hours of the day 🧘‍♀️ no phone or email, even if the world is melting and dying from AI. ✌️ this whole morning routine took me minimum 2years to get used to - every time i introduced a new habit it takes so much time to stick around. I had lots of on and off especially with meditation and exercise 😭 During our house reno i took our busy life as an excuse not to do it. Now that i quit, I feel a sense of total control of my time, which i get stoked by every now and then. I get to dictate exactly how my routine looks like, so I now only book meetings after 4pm 🙈 My next focus is on waking up earlier 🤣 ideally 7:30am to maximise sunshine exposure during golden morning hours, when we still have sun in the UK 🌻 Read our growth journal, where we share the messy figuring out stage of starting our self-employed era (link in bio) 🫶

We need bugs, lots and lots of ‘em! Baby birds are coming in every few minutes right now, sometimes even by the nestful. We’re going through thousands of bugs each day, and believe it or not, we need much more than that to keep up! Most of the orphaned songbirds we receive are insectivores, and even some species that are strictly seed-eaters as adults need the nutrition of live bugs to grow strong. Eg natutally these grapes tasted a lot more fibery, sour and have bigger seeds 🙈not like your supermarket sugar bombs 🤣 oops we stopped eating fruits because moderbs fruits are basically carbohydrates and full of sugar, but maybe we could revert to garden fruits 🫶
