I’m a Filipina living in NL for 3 years and I don’t like Dutch people because, They’re too direct! No filter, no sugarcoating… but at least you always know where you stand, no wasting time beating around the bush. They’re too tall! I feel like a child next to them sometimes 😭 but at concerts, I suddenly have the best view. Ask nicely and you might even end up on their shoulders 😝 Their calendars are always full. Everything needs to be planned weeks in advance… ugh. but it also means they really value their time. They can be a bit stingy. Cheap! Splitting everything, being too careful with money… but actually, they’re just very intentional and financially responsible. They work a lot. Workaholics! Always busy… but when it’s time to celebrate, they really know how to have fun. They drink beer like water and suddenly their fun personality comes out 🥹 So yeah… I don’t like Dutch people.
