How to make a DIY Valentine’s backdrop with newspaper and red paint! Be sure to SAVE for later and comment below if you want me to send you the Amazon L!nks to all the props I used! This is an easy setup for both mamas and professional photographers 🙌🏻 ❤️ If you’re a mom making this to take photos of your own kiddos, pick a room with great natural lighting and shoot in portrait mode on your phone. ❤️ If you’re a photog looking at doing these for mini sessions, be sure to add extra buffer time between sessions. The paper tends to tear from kids playing so you’ll want a few extra minute to clean up and add more paper to the floor. Tips: • Setup the day before you plan to take photos so the paint is dry before the kids touch it • Use strong tape…I used just regular tape and my whole paper wall was on the floor the next morning. So that was fun 🙃 • Don’t press too hard with your paint brush because it can leak through to your wall. Pick up very little paint with your brush and press lightly. Throwback Thursday: How to create the newspaper 📰 from my 28th Birthday Photoshoot🎂🎈 It’s actually pretty easy ✔️ 1. Open @canva and type “Newspaper” it’ll give you a bunch of different templates. Choose the one that fits your aesthetic. 2. Change the size to 28inches Wide 14inches Height, so it can be folded in half like a book 📖 3. Select all the items on the page and move it to one side 4. Select All again and Group everything 5. Then duplicate it and move it to the other side of the page 6. Then Ungroup everything so that you can customize the page how you want. 7. Save as PDF and send it to your local Printing shop like @staples or wherever.
