Have you heard of @nextchapterbham? Along with the tasty meals and treats Next Chapter Cafe serves up, they also reduce waste in so many ways! For starters, they recently joined our Food Recovery Program as a donor and help get surplus food into the hands of those who need it most. Secondly, they use reusable dishware for on site dining and fully certified compostable to go ware, all in compliance with the City of Bellingham’s Single-Use Plastic Ban. Last but not least, they use our waste sorting signage in their café to help limit contamination in the waste stream.
