Notion just dropped AI agents, and I took them for a spin. In this clip, I show how to create a new agent inside Notion, “vibe code” its instructions, give it web access, pick a model, and set up triggers (like running every day at 9AM). I also hit the first real limitation — it needs the right connections (and sometimes an MCP server) to pull data from places like YouTube. What’s the difference between Notion AI and Notion Agents? Notion AI lives in the bottom right corner. Think of it like a ChatGPT or Claude conversation. You open it up, chat back and forth with AI. Notion Agents live in the left sidebar. These are specific agents you set up to do tasks via a specific SOP you create for that task. So Notion AI is your general chat interface that can take action.
