Part 3 of my Obsidian lazy method: this is the full stack behind how I built and now run my AI “second brain”. Most people talk about the LLM wiki method, but I mostly just use that for researching! The real difference is in the supporting layers across your whole setup better search, better structure, better graph visibility, and automations that keep the system moving in the background. I also add my own spin with the knowledge hubs which I only realised was worthwhile once playing around for a while. This is how I keep oversight of my own data and logs, while turning messy notes into something actually useful over time. Not everything is used day to day but I personally like to hold onto my information and this is one of the ways I found it helps me to understand what is actually going on behind the scences. The cron jobs are run for more token intensive processing which is set while I am asleep and also resets my limit windows so I get a reset earlier in the day. Everyone’s Using Obsidian With Claude Wrong, Here’s The Fix The power of Obsidian isn’t the notes themselves. It’s the network of connections between them. Backlinks turn isolated information into a knowledge graph that AI can actually navigate and understand. But Claude won’t create those connections automatically unless you train it to. You need to configure Claude’s memory files to actively search for related notes and link them every time it saves something. Otherwise, you’re dumping information into a vault with no structure, and AI can’t find the connections between your client projects, your processes, or your research.
