ON SET TIPS: Introduce yourself: ⁃ Arrive early (at least 15 mins before call time) - meet the crew and your department head Be super friendly and willing to go the extra mile ⁃ Help out other departments, make jokes and laugh with people ⁃ Hang out with the departments you want to be on ⁃ Get peoples emails / social handles to connect with them and potentially collaborate on future projects Tell people your goals ⁃ most of the time they’ll have a job that you could work on Always be ready ⁃ (depending on your role) I always have a sharpie and masking tape on me, as well as ⁃ Bring your own headset to set. Get yours @onsetheadsets … Extra ideas… that most are scared to do: ⁃ Have a business card / point of contact card and give it to everyone on set so they know you and that you’re eager to get on set jobs ⁃ Write thank you cards to your department heads / AD / director so they remember you, and want to work with you again
