Kyle Connor uses efficient one timer mechanics to blast the puck past Marazek and tally a powerplay goal. Morrisey receives the puck at the top of the zone and sees Connor open, and finds him on the faceoff dot. Connor begins by having a lowered chest and closed blade. This first allows him to contain the power output of his upper body into and through the release of the shot, and second allows Connor to make full contact with the puck. Next upon release, Connor opens his chest but closes his blade on his follow through. By opening his chest, it allows him a full and finished follow through on his one timer. Last, him closing his blade gives him a very controlled and accurate finish, allowing him to release a shot past Marazek to score a mechanically sound goal.
