Adding the embossing to the side of the cutter How many of us have cookie cutters we can’t remember what they are for? I know I have dozens. Well, I recently learned how to emboss the name of the cutter onto my cutters at the time I’m printing them. I am using the FlashForge Orca Slicer software to do this. My 3D printer is a FlashForge Adventurer 5M When you open the software simply import the file that you wish to print.Click the Text box at the top of the screen in the toolbar. Change the embossed text to what you want to name your cutter. You will see you can change the font, height and depth just under where you name the cutter I change the depth to .8mm Click the Advanced arrow and check the boxes for use surface and per glyph. Adjust the location of the text on your cutter so it’s on the side and voila, you now have the name of the cutter printed on the side so you never have to wonder what it is again!
