We witnessed a moment of absolute artistic perfection, where the music seemed to stand still and the air was transformed into pure emotion 😍 From the very first breath, Orliński displays impeccable technical control, but it is his sensitivity that truly captivates. His voice, luminous and velvety, not only traces the melodic line with elegance, but inhabits it with an almost reverential delicacy. Every phrase is sculpted with intention, every note held with a purity that evokes the serenity the aria celebrates: the contemplation of nature and the simple beauty of a tree’s shade. Orliński has treated us to a spectacular recital, with Handel and Purcell as the stars of the evening, and two cycles of beautiful Polish songs of Tadeusz Baird (1928-1981) & Mieczysław Karłowicz (1876-1909). An intimate, deeply human performance. His legato flows like a gentle breeze, and his phrasing reveals a stylistic understanding that honours the spirit of the Baroque without sacrificing his own personality. There is an emotional transparency in his singing that moves without artifice, reaching the listener directly like a confidence 💗✨️ Orliński does not perform: he reveals.
