We had the loveliest guest here at Laine HQ the other week: Evdoxia-Glykeria “Doxy” Pantazi (@duchessevdoxia) one of the designers of 52 Weeks of Sweaters and the creator of the Hue Shift cardigan. Doxy is a Greek knitter living in Helsinki, Finland, and Hue Shift is her first published design. Doxy was also the very first designer to be featured in our new My Knitted Style series in Laine Magazine issue 27: “I’m quite a maximalist — the more the better! — and I love colours to the point that whenever I wear a white or black outfit, people ask me what’s wrong! Finally finished my #OlgaSweater ✨️ I made such good progress with this jumper and then abandoned it for no good reason other than something new came along. I feel like i would definitely make some changes if I was to make this again (and I will 100% make another) But for now, I am just enjoying twirling around in my new jumper before I block it. Jag har teststickat #reversedsweater för @woolandbeyond. Garnet är Peruvian i färgen Burnt Sienna 832 från @filcolana och det har jag fått i samband med teststickningen. I can’t believe that there are only two years between the two sweaters! 🙌🏼 Knitting has really become one of my favourite hobbies. I love learning new techniques and getting better and better. At the same time, you create something of such good quality!
