The President gave a heartfellt speech of how we should help each other, especially after the storms of this year and other things that happened recently. It’s my third year to set up the Christmas tree at Gabbi Garcia’s home. For this year, we went all out Filipino with local elements such as sinamay, coconut husks, rattan, and abaca together with parols from Pampanga. Sharing the Christmas tree I designed for @fireflylightingph ! There is always a first, and I am glad I hopped along on this project. Made sure this tree represents Filipinos, all the Parols I sketched were inspired by the 15 festivals we have in our country, showing how we always love to come together and celebrate life . The topper was inpsired by our 3 stars and a sun, using sequence and reflective materials to highlight a brighter tomorrow and how we have all been able to reflect these past years to prioritise the things that are important to us. The Lillies at the bottom of the tree symbolise hope. You can come by SM by the bay to see the tree in person till mid jan. Thank you Firefly for trusting me with this project, the great team and architect who made my sketches and vision come to life, and to Mark and Arnel Flores and team who executed my parol designs to perfection. :)
