Hello family, It’s been a minute. So I can across this video and it struck a high octave note in my spirit. The greatest pray in scripture arguably is this beautiful and heartfelt pray by King David from Psalm 51:11, which says: "Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me." (NASB) This verse is a plea to God to remain present and engaged in one's life, even in times of struggle or sin. It acknowledges our dependence on God's Spirit for guidance, comfort, and strength. King David wrote this Psalm after being confronted by the prophet Nathan about his sin with Bathsheba. David recognizes his mistakes and asks for God's mercy, forgiveness, and continued presence in his life. THE Question now is did King Solomon not learn from his father’s plunder? Spinach & Feta Pasties - 150g Blanched Spinach / Swiss chard ( Spinach that has been boiled in water until soft. Drain and squeeze out the water.) 100g Danish Feta Cheese 1 teaspoon course black pepper 1 cup fresh cream 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon flour Salt to taste if required Approximately 15 ready cut pastry @pastry_delights_sa To a non stick pan, heat butter. Add the flour and braise until you get a nice aroma. Do not brown the flour. Add the fresh cream. Simmer and mix until thickened. Add the wilted spinach and cook further until very thick. Add the feta cheese and mix in very lightly. Allow to cool completely. Brush one half of the inside of the pastry with egg wash. Fill the feta spinach filling onto half of your pasty. Fold the other half over and seal. Brush the top with egg wash. Sprinkle with dried mixed herbs. Bake in a preheated oven at 200c until the pasty just begins to puff up and then reduce to 180c and bake until done. Cheese and Onion Slice 🧀🧅 Think Greggs Chesse and Onion Pasties but even tastier. I used left over mash, which cuts down on the time to make these delicious snacks and great to use up leftover over potatoes 🥔 Ingredients 400g Potatoes Peeled and cut into small cubes. 30g butter 2 onions, finely chopped 130g cheddar, grated 375g Puff pastry 1 egg Method Boil the potatoes I salted water for 15-20 minutes or until soft, then mash. Melt the butter and gently fry the onions for 5-10 minutes until soft. Add the onions, along with the cheese and plenty of salt and pepper. Mix well. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 8 rectangles. Share the potato mixture across 4 of them. Brush around the edges with beaten egg and bake pace the lids on top Seal the edges using a fork and brush the top with the remaining egg. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkle with sea salt.
