Swiss Arabian Patchouli 01 review. I went into this expecting a simple, earthy patchouli fragrance… and I was completely wrong. This opens fresh, slightly fruity and soapy, with a green minty touch and even a subtle pineapple sweetness. As it settles, a creamy orange blossom and light herbaceous notes start to come through before the patchouli fully takes over in the drydown. And when it does, it’s smooth, deep, slightly woody-sweet, with a soft leathery edge and a touch of vanilla rounding everything out. Performance is solid. Around 8 hours on skin, strong projection in the first hour, then a clean moderate scent bubble after that. This isn’t your typical loud or dirty patchouli. It’s refined, versatile, and easy to wear, whether it’s day or night, any season.
