In the studio today I’m unmolding and cutting a soon-to-be named soap bar (leave a suggestion below!) with a taupe pink speckled aesthetic. Infused with hibiscus flower powder and a touch of rose clay, and scented with essential oils of orange, cedar wood atlas, lavender, and anise, this soap is one of a kind. I think we’re going to get along just wonderfully! Batching a custom order of PINE TAR soap, this was a great soap to make and considering how tricky pine tar is to work with, I’m really happy with the results. It accelerates trace (thickness of the soap) so quickly that you have to stir by hand Pine tar is pretty incredible, known to improve acne, eczema, psoriasis, dandruff and dry itchy skin, it has a unique scent, smoky, woodsy and kinda reminds me how clothes smell after a camp fire.
