🔅Don’t forget to save and share . 🤍 Skin can’t be same 365 days ..and especially if you have sensitive skin like I have , I keep facing these challenges sometimes But it’s temporary. 🧏‍♀️ I get these flaky chapped spots sometimes and what I have figured out it’s because of dehydration and mostly change of weather . . I don’t use cicaplast and physiogel and Boroplus on daily basis . I only use when I am suffering from flaky spots. Products I used : 1. As I use thick products in the night so I wash my face with @suganda.co which is little foamy and yet hydrating . Is very very good for all skin types .. It has all amazing ingredients to soothe skin . In the night I use @cerave which is damn gentle and hydrating on skin. 2. Centella extract is an amazing herb when it comes to dry , irritated sensitive skin .. so I make sure I am adding this by all possible way . . 3. In morning routine I use @larocheposay cicaplast balm which has spf but still I use separate spf . It’s very thick cream and works wonders on skin . But it’s not available in india but you can use @physiogelindia cream which is a great dupe of Cicaplast which I use at night time . 4. Last my forever product , boroplus which i use only on dry patches and it heals the whole process in 24 -48 hours max Disclaimer: I am not a dermat , few products have been suggested by my dermat and it works great for my skin . Pls do a patch test before using any skincare or makeup products . how to heal a damaged skin barrier ⬇️ signs it’s damaged: breakouts, redness, irritation, itchiness, textured skin STEP 1️⃣ REMOVE ALL ACTIVES Vitamin C, retinol, AHAs, salicylic acid, stop them all. STEP 2️⃣ HYDRATE & MOISTURISE Focus on barrier repair ONLY. Think hydrating, milky layers + a thicker moisturiser. Keep EVERYTHING non-comedogenic. Want to prevent breakouts? Use hypochlorous acid (I did a full dedicated video 2 posts ago on how to use it). STEP 3️⃣ REINTRODUCE SLOWLY If your barrier was badly damaged, avoid actives for a few weeks. ⭐️No redness, irritation or itchiness = the main sign your barrier is healed. ⭐️Add actives back one at a time. ⭐️Sensitive skin?
