Today we had the honor of welcoming to Oklahoma Brunch a truly inspiring woman with an incredible mission: Patsy Shipley @patsyshipley81 co-founder of The Navy SEAL Danny Dietz Foundation. 🌟 Patsy dedicates her life to honoring the legacy of her late husband, Navy SEAL Danny Dietz, and to supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces, first responders, and the families who have suffered loss or injury in the line of duty. First Encounters- The first time I met Danny Dietz was three years after he was gone. Patsy and I flew to Colorado, and I sat down at his grave. I introduced myself, caught him up on life, on Patsy, on his dogs. I told him I was scared, scared of not knowing how to balance being a professional and a person who feels deeply. I never got the chance to meet him while he was alive. But his friends are now my friends, and through their stories, I’ve come to know the kind of man he was. Solid. Loyal. Gone too soon.
