Default Liquify I made this because I wanted to try creating a loop with liquid physics. Some people have suggested Geometry Nodes (thanks @blenderlooper) and mirroring an alembic file (thanks @zacfarmerart) but I made this around a month ago before I got those two suggestions 😁 I figured it would be easy enough to have a cube shaped domain that a cube could fill up, but I ran into an issue where the domain wouldn’t fill past the inflow object. I don’t have a lot of experience with liquid physics so maybe there is a way around that. My way around it was to have another cube fill the space… which you can see before the loop. Lego. Easily one of the best toys ever made. I spent countless hours making stuff when I was a kid. We’d forget about it when summer came around, but then it would be brand new again when it got cooler out. This animation has a few corners cut. I did what I could to recreate each piece true to form, but some adjustments were needed in order to get the scale effect right. Anybody trying to figure out how to create the perfect loop video? Here’s my breakdown on how I achieve the loop effect. I know it’s a bit confusing, but with some practice, it starts to make sense and become easier to think backwards. I’ve listed some advice below. Hope this helps someone out there and don’t forget to SAVE THIS FOR LATER! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When filming for creating a loop…MAKE A SCRIPT! Having your points and shots down will really help you with knowing what you need to say and shoot. It’s already a bit confusing, so don’t stress your brain with trying to remember lines and what angles you need to get. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The toughest part is forcing yourself to think and film backwards, along with filming multiple shots. You really need a plan on how the video will end, then you work your way back from there.
