UPDATE: Pima County Sheriff says a court ordered search is underway in Rio Rico, Arizona (near Nogales/the Mexico border) in relation to Nancy Guthrie. 2/10/26

We saw several FBI agents searching around Nancy Guthrie’s property and around her neighbors’ homes here in the Catalina Foothills. This is Day 11 of the search for the missing 84-year-old who Pima County investigators and the FBI say was abducted from her home back on February 1.

Pima County Sheriff’s Department officials confirm they are investigating a damaged utility box around the corner from Nancy Guthrie’s home. Investigators say the equipment could be connected to a reported internet outage in the area around the time she disappeared, disrupting nearby surveillance and video evidence. Sunday morning Pima County Sheriff's Deputies were back at Nancy Guthrie's home. ABC15's drone captured investigators probing what looks like a septic tank in Guthrie's back yard one week after she was reported missing. The investigators searched for a little less than an hour before leaving.

Amazing video of a rescue of a 15-month-old from this weekend. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Unit, along with the Southern Arizona Rescue Association (SARA) @southern_arizona_rescue and the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS), rescued seven hikers — including a young child — on Sunday. Thanks to our partners @azdps , five of the hikers were safely airlifted out of the area. This was a job well done by everyone involved. All seven individuals are doing just fine. UPDATE: Law enforcement officials reported that 34-year-old Patrick Gary Schlegel fled a traffic stop and fired at agents before being shot and injured. He is currently in serious condition in a local hospital following a surgery.

Authorities are still searching for Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, who has been missing since Sunday February 1. At a press conference on Thursday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said authorities believe Nancy is "still out there." Though they don't have any suspects, they're looking at "everybody." The FBI has announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to her recovery. FBI agent Heith Janke addressed the ransom notes that were sent to a few media outlets. He said those letters did not contain proof of life, though they did have monetary demands and deadlines attached. The first deadline has now passed. Nancy Guthrie’s son issued a new appeal to her potential captors, telling them in a video message: “We want to hear from you.” A second deadline from the as-yet unverified ransom notes is on Monday.
