📍Pine Tree House | Sacramento, CA My favorite restaurant for authentic Korean food!! I’ve been coming here for the last 7 or 8 years! It’s kinda expensive, but I think Korean food is overpriced in general 🙃 They have a huge selection of side dishes and you can ask for refills! I love the kimchi here, spicy and not too sour. Their side dishes change pretty often, but all of them are good! I always get their seafood pancake! Crispy on the edges and soft inside. Highly recommend their kalbi! It’s tender and packed with flavor! Service can be a hit or miss, but the food makes up for it! 🍲🍛 If there’s one dish that I’d HIGHLY recommend you getting when you’re at Pine Tree House, then it would have to be their O Sam Bulgogi dish (pork + squid) 🍲🍛 🍚🍲 It’s a phenomenal dish that’s easily shareable and pretty much 2 dishes in one. It’s a hot skillet dish consists of pork, squid, bean sprouts, and other veggies in a sweet and spicy sauce (SO GOOD AND FLAVORFUL). Whatever is left over afterwards, they will then add rice, seaweed and lettuce into the hot pot to make fried rice! 🤤🤤🤤A very savory and filling dish. The menu says it serves 2, but ideally, it can be shared amongst 3-4 people. Because it says it serves 2, you’ll be given two bowls of rice for the first portion of the dish, so if you’re with more than 2 people then ask for additional bowls of rice if you choose to do so.
