So… apparently I’m AI now 🤖✨ Officially promoted by Pinterest. Which is funny, because I’ve been training these hands for years. Sketching. Erasing. Redrawing. Learning light, shadows, texture. Making terrible drafts so the final piece can actually look decent. And now when something looks polished, the first reaction is doubt. Not curiosity. Not “how did you do that?” Just… suspicion. I’m still learning. Still experimenting. Still trying to get better with every piece. It’s just interesting how fast we question something the moment it looks a little too good. Anyway — still human. Still blinking. Still needing coffee to function ☕🙂

I was looking for references on Pinterest and came across many images as such. I ignorantly chose this one because she looked beautiful like she was meant to be drawn. I noticed that many other artists in the comments drew her too. My vision has gotten really bad recently, and I didn't notice the errors in my lazy eye. I directly cropped up the image on her face to use that as a ref window (i use a small device). 5+ hours later, i uncropped the sht and noticed all the anomalous distortion after taking a good look. I felt so stupid, but i i couldn't afford to quit. I tried to make my art as realistic as possible, unlike the distorted Al crap. I can't call it my art cause it just feels wrong, but it took me 10+ hours. The image was not even labelled ai modified. It's crazy about how much of ai slop is out there and people live to believe it's real mesmerised by a bunch of generated pixels. The big 25 & 26 is such a burnout. Even apart from this, off the topic, the world is rotting from the core. All that progress just fell out backwards. #digitalart #artwork #saynotoai #ibispaintx #speedpaint
