This pretty girl arrived at the shelter when she hopped into the back of a police car (true story). Sunshine was set to head to an offsite adoption spot through @doggiestylepetscares but needed a place to crash for a few days first. Well, my time as a foster w/ the motorcycle gang has came to an end and 3 of 4 have been adopted 👏👏👏 Sappy time 🥹🥹 …this was something I’ve been wanting to do for a long while and it couldn’t have come at a better time in my life. Watching these babies grow…caring for all of them…was so meaningful to me, and I don’t really know how to put this in the right words - but dang, it felt good to be concerned with something else’s health and well being besides my own…. But as rewarding as this is, it’s obviously has its challenges, I mean 4 dogs + my dog 😳😳 fosters are how rescues thrive and are able to save more animals. Key board warriors think they know more about someone’s life than the person living it 😂. Of all our dogs, Kevin is literally the least threatening one. Since the video went viral, @fedex reached out and they will be investigating whether that driver carries mace on them. It’s unfortunate the only reason they were going to investigate is because the story went viral but at least it’s happening. I’m not demanding they fire him, all I’m asking is for an investigation since it wasn’t caught on camera. My sweet Luna girl. Her sitting on that porch and waiting is still one of the saddest things I’ve seen. Her family (my neighbors) loved her dearly and I wish they’d had better options. Luna is still waiting to be adopted after a year and a half! She’d love a quieter family with no cats. After some slow intros she absolutely loves silly, goofy pups. She deserves a forever spot.
