How to curl short hair ✨ even a pixie cut! Figuring out a way to curl my pixie opened up so many more styling options for me! These tight, ringlet curls serve as a base for so many curly looks, whether it’s brushed out, pin curls or even soft waves. 🌊 Here’s how I do it! ✔️ Start with 1-2 day hair so it has some grip to hold curls 💨 Add hairspray to help curls stick, especially if you have straight hair like me 🍄 Brush our hair so you have an even base to work with 📌 Pin top section of hair off and work first with the bottom, short layers ✨ I use a 3/8, 9mm curl iron set at 425 degrees 🤏🏼 Take inch size pieces and and clip end to barrel 🌀 Hold the iron horizontally and curl up and out ❗️ Hold for 5-7 seconds 💥 Pump the barrel to release the curl 🔁 Repeat all over until finished! This style usually lasts me 2-3 days. ✨ I definitely want to continue experimenting with different size barrels once my hair gets long again, but this is great start!
