Yesterday, as we were returning from our shelter we came across a scene. A poor dog had been abandoned with its eyes blindfolded. We immediately approached the dog and gently removed the cloth from its eyes. We urge everyone to show kindness and care towards animals. Gowthami was discovered lying alongside a highway, severely injured from an accident. Members of The Planetic Foundation - @theplanetic or @coimbatore_animal_rescue , who happened to be returning from another rescue mission, came across her and promptly took her under their care before bringing her to us. Upon examination, it was revealed that Gowthami had a significant open wound on her side and a fractured leg. Immediate medical attention was provided, and she was placed on strict bed rest to allow her leg to heal. Just as she was showing signs of progress, she was unexpectedly diagnosed with Parvo virus, further challenging her resilience. However, this brave little fighter battled through and successfully overcame the illness. After several weeks of dedicated care, this sweetheart has made a remarkable recovery and is now prepared to reintegrate into her community. However, we believe she deserves a chance of a loving home. We urge you to consider opening your heart and home to Gowthami; providing her with the safe and caring environment she truly deserves.
