How can I possible say that about these utterly adorable German Short Haired Pointer mixes, raised until weaning away from the shelter, very socialable, confident and adorable! Well the thing is that not as many people as you think see our posts 💔 In fact of those that do, only 5% on average are looking for a dog or puppy to adopt. So that’s where YOU come in and believe me, YOU can make all difference. Back to the puppies…they were an accidental litter of a family’s pointer and a mixed breed smaller dog. They live at their home in the yard. They have now been neutered so no more puppies! The family did their best by these 7 puppies, working with the shelter to provide everything to keep them comfortable and safe until they were ready to wean and go to the shelter. We have named them ‘The Hound Pups’ and there are 4 boys Hogarth, Hector, Herbie and Harry, and 3 girls Hallie, Hetty & Holly. They are 3 months old (DOB 01/08/25) and we think they will be medium sized around 20-30kg when fully grown with the boys probably being at the larger end and girls at the smaller. They would love fun, active homes, with lots of opportunities to explore their breed traits. If you’ve been waiting to learn this sweet girl’s FOREVER name, then be sure to watch until the end! 🧡 I am smitten!!! She is such an absolute doll with loads of energy. It is so hard to fathom that she was scheduled to be euthanized on September 6th in an overcrowded Georgia shelter. We are so thankful that the @pointerrescue_org (PRO) stepped in and saved this amazing creature. PRO volunteers transported her to a wonderful foster home in Louisiana where she was cared for until her forever family was found. That’s us!!! We are down to our last beautiful puppy. This is Miss Cinnamon. She is absolutely gorgeous, and oh so very sweet. My husband wants to keep her, and my heart does as well. More puppies in need of homes 🥹 10 pointer mix puppies along with their mom and dad, Arlo, were found on a rural road in Texas by some teenage boys. 4 of the pups and their dad made their way to ARF with help of our rescue partner @ourcauseforpaws and Four Legged Helpers.
