Our pool area is nearly complete, and I’m excited to enjoy the last weeks of summer right here! I’ve loved sharing the process from start to finish with you, here are answers to your most frequently asked questions: ⛱️ We chose a fiberglass pool for three reasons: quick installation, easy maintenance, and cost-effectiveness compared to the concrete option we originally planned. It requires fewer chemicals, less maintenance, and no refinishing. Plus its a god option for dogs too (my dogs love to swim) ⛱️ The size of the pool is perfect for our needs, and the depth allows us to dive in comfortably! ⛱️ Choosing the color was a big decision for me. I wanted something muted and natural, nothing too artificial. Believe it or not, the color of our pool is called ‘slate,’ which is a lovely shade of grey. With the water, it turned out exactly how I imagined. ⛱️ The only thing that took a bit longer than expected was installing the tile surround.
