Our pool area is nearly complete, and I’m excited to enjoy the last weeks of summer right here! I’ve loved sharing the process from start to finish with you, here are answers to your most frequently asked questions: ⛱️ We chose a fiberglass pool for three reasons: quick installation, easy maintenance, and cost-effectiveness compared to the concrete option we originally planned. It requires fewer chemicals, less maintenance, and no refinishing. Plus its a god option for dogs too (my dogs love to swim) ⛱️ The size of the pool is perfect for our needs, and the depth allows us to dive in comfortably! ⛱️ Choosing the color was a big decision for me. I wanted something muted and natural, nothing too artificial. Believe it or not, the color of our pool is called ‘slate,’ which is a lovely shade of grey. With the water, it turned out exactly how I imagined. ⛱️ The only thing that took a bit longer than expected was installing the tile surround. The tiles are huge, 120x120cm, and we also had our installers fabricate the coping with the same tile, carrying the tile like this to the edge looks 👌🏼 Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the result, and I’m excited to finish styling this space and host my friends and fam. #poolgoals #backyarddesign #backyardoasis #outdooliving #pooldesign #homestyle #homeinspo #fiberglasspools #backyardgoals #dreampools

We spent months doing research and planning our pool design! We wanted a pool we could swim laps in and didn’t want the tanning ledge and spa to take away from the length. Other things I would choose again: 9. Salt water - makes a huge difference on your skin and hair (no chlorine smell) 10. Pebblefina finish - one of the smoothest PebbleTec finishes 11. Sport pool - ends are shallow and middle is deep (allows for playing pool sports and let’s be real, most people end up hanging out in the shallow end) 12. Autofill (no need to add water to the pool, because it does it for you!) Let me know if you have any questions!
