Crystal deodorant?! 🤔 #notsponsored Saw this on Amazon and bought it thinking it was some cool new product without reading what it was, only to realise it’s alum/fitkari stone smoothed into a deo shape and marked up 10X in price 😅 What I didn’t know though is that it actually works?! Just wet the stone or your skin and rub it in circles and thats it! The stone has no scent and won’t stop sweating but it will stop body odour like nothing else! The clean ones are super expensive & the affordable ones have super toxic ingredients in them like aluminum, fragrances, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, and many more! I was paying upwards of $15 for one stick of deodorant, so I decided to DIY my deodorant and I am so glad I did. Nate and I both agree this deodorant completely stops the perspiration and the B.O. in its tracks, and even banishes it from starting all together! I was stinky y’all, like really stinky! I’d put my expensive toxic free deodorant on in the morning, and by the afternoon I would need to reapply. With this recipe I can go the entire day with one application, no more stinky pits! Not to mention, I also don’t trust most things sold on shelves so I’ve been learning how to make things at home to know what I’m putting in or on my body and it’s been the best decision ever. DIY deodorant hack! All we need is an empty Deodorant Roller Bottle and @theordinary glycolic acid toner! What it does is it exfoliates your armpits so there is no bacteria under there ( it’s not your sweat that smells it’s bacteria) so by removing any bacteria with the exfoliating toner you won’t have any smell 😉 Have you tried it before? It is so easy to make your very own all natural solid deodorant. This is great for odor absorption, as well as sweat absorption— my favorite deodorant yet. Here’s what you’ll need: 3 tablespoons mango butter, 1 tablespoon beeswax, 1 tablespoon kaolin clay, 1 tablespoon magnesium hydroxide— for helping with sweat absorption use 1/2 tablespoon arrowroot powder-essential oil is optional. make a double boiler using a pot a little bit of water at the bottom and a glass jar or bowl that holds your ingredients. Put it on low to medium heat until the mango butter and beeswax melt. Add the clay and the magnesium and make sure to whisk it well so you don’t have clumps. Add a half a tablespoon of arrowroot powder to help with sweat. I did three drops lavender essential oil and three drops geranium. It smells heavenly. Let it cool enough (not too much because it cools quickly and hardens) before pouring into the deodorant tube. Once you pour it in the tube, put it in the refrigerator to cool. Bada Bing, Bada Boom! All you got to do is add any talcum powder of your choice and spray generous amount of your favourite perfumes or perfume oil and keep layering it.
