Unfortunately I do love planning my whole travel itinerary around the best places to eat, and will always choose to wait in a restaurant line > waiting in line for a museum. So if you’re wondering where to eat in Prague or need a ready-to-go Prague food guide, here’s the shortlist that actually lived up to the hype 👇 📍 Lokál Dlouhá Rotating menu of Czech classics at prices that feel like a steal. Don’t miss the caramel-glazed profiterole. 📍 Kantýna Basically a meat lover’s dream: beef tartare, carpaccio, bone marrow. You can also get brisket, pulled pork, and steaks grilled to order. Not a veggie in sight. 📍 Baraqa Georgian Cozy, generous plates. We devoured the veggie starter, khachapuri, khinkali, and pulled pork. 📍 Crème de la Crème Rich, creamy AF ice cream. No notes. 📍 Pork’s Everyone orders the pork knuckle (obvi) + the goat cheese salad to break up all the meat. You can also try Czech fruit dumplings + beer ice cream. 📍 Zrno Zrnko The best kolach in town (blueberry is elite). Kolacherie has more flavours, but the ones at ZZ wins. 📍 Knedlin Potato dumplings stuffed with every flavor you can imagine. The pork & cabbage is criminally underrated. Toto je 10 mojich obľúbených miest, ktoré v Prahe nikdy nevynechám. Pre mňa je výlet do Prahy vždy o dobrom brunchi, buchtičkách se šodó, prechádzkach a útulných miestach na kávu a koláče. Milujem pražskú gastroscénu 😍 1. @eska_karlin - je absolútna topka na raňajky a vždy obrovský zážitok. Ich chlieb 33 som si zobrala aj domov. A nadčasový priestor s otvorenou kuchyňou je už len taká čerešnička. 2. @cukrarna.mysak - vždy jedna z mojich prvých zastávok na buchtičky se šodó, ale aj ich veterník a cukrovinky z predajne stoja za to. 3. @krokitchen - aj by som tam niekedy skúsila niečo iné ako kombo s trhaným kuracím mäsom na hnedom orieškovom masle, ale tomu nikdy neodolám. Neviem, či som niekedy jedla lepšie pripravené kura 🤤 4. @sodo_bistro - ďalšie dokonalé buchtičky se šodó 🤍 a vejce do skla posypané syrom Comté je tiež úplná topka! 5. @may.cafe.prg - výborné matcha latté a dokonale útulný priestor. 6. @booktherapycz - moje obľúbené kníhkupectvo v Prahe aj v Brne. Toto síce nie je gastro tip, ale nevynechám ho nikdy. 7. @inaugustcompany - ďalší tip mimo gastra, ale tak príjemné miesto ako je In August Company len tak ľahko nenájdete. Moje obľúbené domáce šálky a misky sú práve odtiaľ. 8. @prazskenaplavky a @avoid_cafe - či je leto alebo chladnejšie počasie, prechádzka a čítanie si pri Vltave je moje must. 9. @mr.hotdogprague - fast food povýšený na vyššiu úroveň, ich hot dogy sú pre mňa najviac! 10. @etapa_pgfoodies - last, but not least, Etapa je proste láska. I recommend coming to this place early in the morning as they do not take reservations and enjoy breakfast. @kavarna_obecnidum 3. 📍 Černá Madona is a rondocubist cafe. They serve brunch and fresh sandwiches but they are known for their famous desserts! So be sure to stop by for a dessert and coffee or their signature spritz! @cerna_madona 4. 📍 Café Imperial is an architectural gem that is owned by a Czech television chef Zdeněk Pohlreich. You will receive michelin star quality food but at affordable prices! This place is great for breakfast or their lunch specials! @cafeimperial_praha 5. 📍420 Enjoy an exceptional dining journey and impeccable service in a beautiful setting! I recommend coming here for lunch or dinner! @420restaurant 6. 📍Terasa U Prince is great if you fancy breakfast or a cake and cocktail with a view! It’s cute a cozy and has a signature cake designed like the astronomical clock! @terasauprince 7. 📍 Café Louvre first opened its doors in 1902 and even though years have passed you can still enjoy the unique atmosphere of a historical, grand café, as Franz Kafka, Albert Einstein did! I recommend coming for a traditional Czech breakfast! @cafelouvre 8. 📍 Café Savoy is a stunning historical cafe. It’s housed in a historic Art Nouveau building and known for its wines and fine dinning menu! I came here for a hot chocolate and the famous Czech CHLEBÍČKY an open sandwich! @cafe.savoy 9. 📍 Grand Café Orient is the only cafe in the world built and decorated in a cubist style.
