Dust is blown across the prairies by a collapsing line of storms, exhaling their final breath before starting a new cycle further East into the Texas Panhandle. On this day we knew that we had to get towards Denver (since we would fly back to Germany the next day) but the opportunity for photogenic scenes like this was too tempting to leave so firstly it was due South again to intercept these, the stormchasing spirit is simply too strong in us to just leave. In the end, the day even brought some more photogenic stuff, even as we finally headed North towards the airport, stopping in Lamar for the night to enjoy one last evening with the other Germans, before sadly it was time to leave once more.
