I’m fast learning in Prep that pairing an expectation or routine with a visual, sound, movement or video is game-changing and is acting as the best cue for success!!! I mean you know these things, but they’re not quite as game-changing 🤣 Meet my ‘quiet work’ friend (he does not have a name but will definitely need one!) He comes on when we are working quietly at our desk… this is different to when we are doing choice activities. The goal is to keep him asleep!
