Primally Pure turns 9 this month, and I can’t believe it’s been nearly a decade since I officially started selling skincare products at the Primal Pastures farm stand. I didn’t start Primally Pure with investors, capital or the goal of turning it into a big brand. It began as a passion project, born out of my desire to create products that improved skin health without compromising whole body health. Deodorant was the first product I created, followed by several others (Cleansing Oil, Everything Spray, Body Butter and Lip Balm to name a few). Once I discovered how effective natural ingredients could be, I quickly became obsessed with replacing my conventional skincare and personal care products with clean + non-toxic alternatives. And after experiencing a big shift in the look, feel and function of my skin, I knew I couldn’t keep these products to myself and began to share them with friends and family. The positive feedback I received gave me the motivation and confidence to get my clean + effective line of skincare products into more people’s hands. Nine years later, my team and I are still motivated and fueled by a desire to change lives through pure products and clean living education.
