In the past 12 years we have seen new jobs created in Texas, but wages haven't increased proportionally to the cost of living. For instance this past year and Comal County are tax rate just for the county alone went up by 15%. Social Security went up by 2.8%. The amount of money that the government is now taking from us is not proportional to the rising costs of living.
