Prototype in JavaScript Explained in 60s 🤯⚡ . @codebyabi . Every object in JS has a hidden property called __proto__ 👀 That’s how JavaScript gives you access to methods like: ✅ toString() ✅ push() ✅ map() ✅ and more… ⚡ Prototype = the secret chain behind inheritance ⚡ Lets objects share methods → saves memory ⚡ Key for understanding OOP & interviews 🏆 It’s like a hidden family tree of methods in JS 👨👩👦 💬 Comment “Proto” if you want me to drop examples + diagrams 📌 Save this — mastering prototype = mastering JS interviews 🔥 . . Prototyping in Figma, let’s go! Today, we’ll design an interaction with a card slider that triggers a new design. We’ll cover prototype devices, overflow scrolling, and smart animation. Overflow scrolling is how you make card sliders in Figma prototypes. Start with a horizontal list that is wider than the screen. Drop that into your screen, then set the size to fixed and set the width to the size of the screen. It’s best if you first give it an auto layout so that you can add some horizontal padding. This makes it so your cards have a consistent padding. Now we’ll make sure Clip Content is checked. Then, you’ll head to the prototype tab and change the overflow setting to horizontal scrolling. Can you say 🎤CARD SLIDER ✨ One more step before animating is to deselect all of your designs, go to the Prototype tab, and change the device to a phone that matches the size of your screens. Now, you’ll have a fancy phone frame and a circle cursor. The next step is to make a new state to transition to. Duplicate the screen and make your design changes. Just make sure to keep the layer names consistent so that Smart Animate can do its magic. The only thing left to do is select your element, grab the blue circle on the frame edge, and drag it to the next screen. Set the transition to Smart Animate, and 🎤OOOOH THAT’S PROTOTYPING 🔥 #designtutorials #figmatutorial #prototyping #uiux

POV: Developer 😂 This video highlights the infamous "spaghetti prototype"—the number one bottleneck in modern product cycles. In 2025, successful design teams are prioritizing "Dev Mode" readiness and strict handoff protocols to eliminate this exact friction. ✨ The 'Spaghetti' Web: The video showcases an unmanageable density of blue prototype lines crossing over dozens of unrelated artboards. This lack of hierarchy forces developers to decipher logic rather than build it, drastically slowing down the MVP launch. ✨ The Unorganized Canvas: We see a zoomed-out view of hundreds of screens without visible section headers or distinct flow groupings to guide the eye. Organizing frames into logical clusters reduces cognitive load, allowing stakeholders to validate complex user journeys faster. ✨ The Emotional Friction: The reaction overlay highlights the immediate confusion and frustration caused by poor documentation and messy files. A clean handoff builds trust between design and engineering, which is the single highest predictor of a successful product ship. Reposted from @ripplix_
