And that's also why I love this industry so much. Looking back at my own journey, it were creators like these who helped me an awful lot! Especially creators like ThinMatrix, The Cherno, Sebastian Lague, Games from Scratch and many more (unfortunately some not being active anymore..). It's because of these people, sharing their knowledge for free, making many journeys possible. So, they deserve all the credit and appraisal. 😇 It's also because of these people I am doing what I do for years as well. Trying to share my enthusiasm for programming and making games. Sharing my journey. And hopefully helping some of you. Exactly a year ago I started working on my dream game. It had many iterations and development was on and off and the project has been rebuilt from scratch a couple times until I landed on the current art style (Which also already saw its first iteration as a lot of people gave feedback on visibility). I was never happy with the progress to share with the outside world, it was never perfect, it was always one feature, one bug fix, one art style iteration away from sharing with the outside world for months. I decided at the end of 2025 I would share my journey no matter what. Initial feedback was harsh but fair, because of this I could improve my game in ways I couldn’t have done so by myself. It’s easy to get lost in your project and get creator blindness. Sharing my game development journey was met with a lot of support and positive reactions, it made me overcome my perfectionism paralysis. It’s okay to share imperfect features, it’s okay if there is a bug in the background and criticism does not exist to bully you, but to help you grow. Thanks for all the support in this journey. Enemy AI Got TOO Smart… And Formed a Union 😭 | Devlog Short 12 . . Last time my enemies learned how to see. Now they’re forming traffic jams trying to catch the player— so I made Zones, the enemy team manager. It builds squads, assigns roles, and stops them from crowding like NPC clowns.
