We’e back with a 💥 bang this #tricktuesday! Have you tried this with your dog before? This is an intermediate dog trick that will help if your floof can already do a ‘down’. Remember, tricks are just for fun, keep sessions short and exciting for your doggo with plenty of rewards! Focus first—then cue! 🐾 One of the biggest puppy training issues I see is people repeating commands, hoping it’ll finally “click.” But each time we repeat, the puppy learns it’s okay not to listen the first time! Instead, focus is key. For your puppy to understand what you want, they need to be dialed into you. Here’s how I teach it: ➡️I drop a treat as a “distraction,” say “look at me,” and reward only when their eyes are on me. Why?
