The best thing we can do is take some stress out of the muscle so it can relax. If you pull a lower back muscle, loosen up your glutes so they’re not pulling on your back muscles. Then, redirect the stress by engaging your hamstrings with some hip hinges; this will take the tension out of your back and redirect it into your leg muscles that can handle it.
