🔌 ON/OFF Switch with Push Button – Control and Power in Electric Motors I'm sharing a classic example of an industrial ON/OFF switch circuit with a push button, applied to the control of a three-phase motor, clearly separating the control circuit (24Vdc) and the power circuit. 🔎 Components and their functions: ⚡ L1, L2, L3 (Three-phase Network) – Main power supply to the motor. 🔒 DJ1 (Power Circuit Breaker) – General protection of the power circuit against short circuits. 🧠 CA1 (Contactor) – Electromagnetic device responsible for energizing and de-energizing the motor by closing the power contacts. 🔥 RT (Thermal Relay) – Overload protection; acts by opening contact 95-96 in the control circuit if there is excess current. ⚙️ M1 (Three-phase motor) – Load driven by the system. 🔘 B1 (ON/OFF control button) – Responsible for turning the motor power on and off, energizing the contactor coil. 🛑 B2 (STOP – Emergency) – Safety button that immediately interrupts the control circuit in a risk situation. 🔄 Auxiliary contacts (13-14 / 11-12) – Responsible for the self-sustaining and interlocking of the system, ensuring that the motor remains on after the initial pulse. 🔋 24Vdc power supply – Power supply for the control circuit, ensuring greater operational safety. ⚡ DJ2 (Control circuit breaker) – Protection of the control circuit. 📌 Summary of operation: When button B1 is pressed, the contactor coil is energized, closing the power contacts and powering the motor.
