So I bought these @marciabaraldiquilter Quilting Grip Gloves when I bought the quilting template, mainly because I could still show my nails and use them, but wow these are the best quilting gloves I've ever used. So much easier to maneuver than the white gloves and now I can't imagine quilting without them. Can't wait to try these while free-motion quilting, but I couldn't wait to share the awesomeness with y'all. #quiltingfun #quiltinggloves

I took a leap and decided to start carrying fabric in my shop when I accidentally ordered a whole bunch when I went to @hhamericas. And @patricklosestudios Glisten was the first to arrive in full, which is perfect since it's the one that had me sit down with @northcottfabric in the first place. Because I LOVE air so much you just don't know. And yes it literally glistens because one of the three pigments in each fabric is pearlized for extra fabulosity. I’m often asked whether I sell the things I make and I mostly don’t. And the few times Ive tried to explain the why, I always feel like it’s being perceived that I’m full of myself when I explain the actual cost. Like being compensated for the materials and also my time is something to be embarrassed about. And we always undervalue our time. Like all of us do it. As if knowing our worth is egotistical or something. It’s just a weird uncomfortable tango when pricing an item, so I don’t. Quick reel on my most recent make! I’ve never quilted a garment before! I made the Women’s Everyday Waistcoat from @newcrafthouse. The pattern is simple to print, line up and tape yourself and pretty straight forward to make! I didn’t add the pockets to make it reversible!
