✦ Visualize Data like a Biz Analyst (Lesson 5 of 20) When I became a Biz Analyst at Spotify, these are the 3 Data Visualization rules I learned: 01 | The Call-out Box (0:18) – Put the insight directly on the graph so it tells the story fast. 02 | Color Focus (0:21) – Use gray for historical data, and bright/bold color for current data to help people focus on the ‘now’. 03 | Structured Titling (0:26) – Name your chart title [Y-Axis] by [X-Axis] so it’s easy to understand ↳ Lesson 5: Lean into your differences! Extroverts talk to think, but introverts think to talk. If you’re quiet, show them your perspective instead! 💾 SAVE this for your presentation, or SHARE it for your introverted friends! ___________ ✦ 商業分析師怎麼做圖? #businessanalyst #workingintech #datavisualization #womenintech

1️⃣ “R for Data Science” by Wickham et al. is widely recommended across stats forums as one of the best books to learn hands on R programming. The is available online for free at www.r4ds.hadley.nz 2️⃣ HarvardX Data Science R Basics is free to audit assumes no prior knowledge and teaches you foundational programming concepts and operations (it doesn’t get into statistical modeling yet). 3️⃣ “An Introduction to Statistical Learning with Applications in R” by James et al. can be a little bit more technical and advanced (as it actually covers statistical topics), but comes with great real-life R coding examples. The PDF of the book is available online for free at www.statlearning.com 4️⃣ www.rscreencasts.com has a long list of screencast videos by data scientist David Robinson where he shares real-world examples of live data analyses in R, including how to approach analysis, what packages and methods he uses, as well as general R tricks and tips. 5️⃣ If you prefer more interactive learning, you might enjoy swirl (swirlstats.com) that teaches you R programming interactively inside the R console, no reading books or watching courses required. ❓Any other good recs? Visualizing the architecture of intelligence. 🕸️✨ Every neural network is built on the same fundamental concept: Layers. 🟡 Input Layer: Receives the raw data (pixels, text, numbers). 🟢 Hidden Layers: Where the magic happens—processing features and finding patterns. 🟠 Output Layer: Delivers the final prediction or decision. From the simple Perceptron to the complex loops of an RNN, these structures are the blueprints for how machines learn. 📐 #NeuralNetworks #MachineLearning #DeepLearning #DataScience #AI #Education #Visualized

Comment GRAPH to get this AI tool. Graphy just rolled out some cool AI features. These make interactive graphs super easy to create. Imagine turning boring data into eye-catching visuals. That’s what Graphy does. Why interactive graphs matter: - Engagement: Picture this. You present your data. Instead of staring blankly, your audience interacts. They zoom in, click around, and really engage with the information. - Customization: The AI suggests the best chart type for your data. It’s like having a personal assistant who knows exactly how to showcase your findings. - Real-time changes: Need to tweak something? No problem. Adjust your data and watch the graph update instantly. This is a lifesaver for researchers who need quick answers. - Team collaboration: Share your graphs easily. Everyone can jump in, discuss, and make decisions together. It’s like brainstorming but with visual aids. I remember using Graphy for a school project. I turned dry stats into fun, interactive graphs. My classmates loved it. They could explore the data themselves. It made my presentation stand out. In short, Graphy helps you tell your story with data. It makes complex information simple and engaging. #aitool #graph #aivisuals #aippt #ainews #graphyapp #aicommunity #aiindia #artificialintelligence #aiforbusiness #aiforprofessionals

A tip if you’re trying to learn R ⬇️ SWIRL is a package within R Studio that has tutorials so you can “learn R within R.” I did the R Programming course as an assignment a year or so ago and now use it to refresh my memory about basic terms and codes within R. It also looks like there are quite a few “courses” within SWIRL that are not just for beginners if you already know some R and want to advance - although I haven’t tried them yet 😄 Share this with your friends who might find this useful since R is surprisingly necessary for a lot of majors and academic fields 👩🏼💻 #rprogramming #collegetips #gradschool #womeninstem #r
