Alles da was man braucht. Sehr sauber! Beim nächsten Mal würde ich statt den Blick zum Innenhof wahrscheinlich eher den Blick zur Straße bevorzugen, da sonst andere Gäste den vollen Blick ins Zimmer haben wenn die Vorhänge nicht zu sind. Ein weiteres kleines Manko ist, dass man die Fenster nicht öffnen kann. ✍️ Hotel Design Review – Radisson Blu Waterfront, Stockholm Reviewed by someone who actually designs spaces for a living 🤓 Let’s talk about what this hotel room got right — and where it totally dropped the ball. ✅ What worked: •Open closet: Clean, airy, and actually usable. No weird closet smell, no clunky doors — just shelves, hangers, and space that makes sense. •Fire-rated door (Brandschutztür): Solid noise cancellation and fire safety. Each room is its own fire zone – rare but smart. •Design consistency: The leather-look finish on the headboard, drawers, and open closet brought the whole room together. It felt elegant without trying too hard. •Curtains setup: Sheer during the day for privacy, blackout at night for total darkness. Simple but well thought out. •Big mirror: Always a win. •Bathroom counter space: Finally enough room for my makeup bag, toiletries, and still space to breathe. •Wall-mounted soap, shampoo, conditioner: Right height, no clutter. Efficient. •Anti-fog mirror: Small touch, big luxury. •Dark grout & darker tiles: Way more forgiving than white. Should be standard in hotel bathrooms. ❌ What didn’t work: •The second toilet paper roll: Placed way too close to the toilet, low on the wall — and it was already sprinkled from whoever used the room before. Completely unhygienic. A shelf or drawer would’ve solved that. •Shower slope & drain position: The floor only sloped from the middle, and the drain was right where you stand — so water pooled everywhere. Plus, strong ventilation blowing freezing air during a hot shower? Not a vibe. •No shower barrier: The floor flooded because the second half of the shower had no slope, no glass wall, and no edge. Messy and uncomfortable. Overall?
