Every year, without fail, my mum makes her signature Eid juice and it’s honestly one of those traditions my family and I look forward to just as much as the celebration itself. From the moment it’s poured, you know Eid has truly begun 🤍! It’s the perfect blend of refreshing, summery flavours. It’s Light, thirst-quenching, and just the right amount of sweet, it’s the kind of drink you keep going back for “just one more glass” 😅. Trust me, this is a must-try… you’ll want to make it part of your Eid tradition too. ☺️ Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 2 cups water 1 tin fruit cocktail (410g) 2 tins crushed or pieces of pineapple (432g) @woolworths_sa Granadilla juice (1.5 litre) @woolworths_sa Orange juice (1.5 litre) Lemonade Mint Strawberries cubed small Granadilla pulp Grated red apple Method : 1. Start by making a simple syrup with sugar and water, once the syrup is of the right consistency set aside to cool. 2. To a bowl add the fruit cocktail and crushed pineapple tins and blend and liquidise until you get a smooth consistency. 3. To a jug you are going to add the syrup, liquidised tins of fruit, granadilla juice and orange juice. Before serving add about 1/2 to 3/4 cups lemonade ( optional ), chopped mint, small cubed strawberries, granadilla pulp and a grated red apple. Summer just arrived, and what’s better than a refreshing homemade grape juice? 🍇☀️ This summer special juice is so easy to make, you’ll be chilling in no time.
