4 years ago before our 1st Block auction we bought a huge dilapidated beach house in Newport Beach NSW with a plan to renovate, but life got in the way… Covid happened, we were then lucky enough to get another season on The Block, off the back of that we opened @mitchandmarkhome , and the biggest surprise was the opportunity to be the hosts of @locationsau !!! Life has been full of glorious rewarding opportunities, but we are now finally make a start. Bin there, done that… 🫣 If you’re anything like me, you probably want your outdoor space to feel calm and inviting… not a Bin parking lot 😂 My secret to maximising our yard? Hide the ugly bits! And the easiest solution we’ve ever done was installing these outdoor bin enclosures from @bindi_screening 🗑️ They honestly come 99% assembled (a DIY dream 🙌🏻), and all we had to do was position them and pop the locks on. In under 10 minutes, we went from “oh no, don’t look over there” to “wait, that actually looks good!” They fit three standard 240L bins perfectly, and could easily double as storage for bikes, pool pumps, or any of those “where do we hide this?” backyard items. They’re really well designed too — easy to open, easy to wheel bins in and out, and husband-approved for practicality. 🤭 And the best part? By hiding the eyesores, we’ve completely transformed that side of the yard into a space we actually use. It’s amazing how much difference a little structure can make.
