• F R I D A Y • Ok so three things we have learnt so far whilst doing up our rental. • It will take longer than you think. Ok so six weeks ago we walked in to the rental, Tom pacing every room overwhelmed at everything we had to do. Whilst I excitedly followed with my ‘we can do this’ attitude. Now if this was pre children it would have been done by now but we possibly overlooked the fact that we would have to have a lot of help with the children. We took it in turns most of the time, we’ve done night shifts, and we definitely owe our parents a lot of beers 🤣 • You can do it on a budget. We tried so hard to get lots of preloved things. We scrolled for hours on Facebook marketplace (and I will do a breakdown of what we have spent) • If it matters to you it will matter to someone else. Blood, sweat and tears gone into this project. Tom describes us as ‘detail guys’ so scraping off old paint, filling holes, replacing doors were really important to us so the finish on this project was the best it could be! I’m so excited to show you what we have done. And I hope someone will love it as much as we do now.
